Niki Cummings Volmrich has owned Feldman Jewelers for 25 years, and had always been interested in opening a women’s clothing store. When she learned that a storefront two doors down from Feldmans was becoming vacant, she knew it was her opportunity. She woke her husband Doug in the middle of the night and told him of her intentions…but what would it be called? “It has to be something clever,” she insisted. “That’s it then,” he said, and the name was settled.
Today, it’s hard to imagine the downtown Franklin landscape without Something Clever as one of its anchors. Located within walking distance of numerous other unique retailers and fabulous restaurants, Something Clever is a must-see store for all Franklin visitors and a go-to spot for residents seeking truly special gifts and accessories. The store is managed by Lisa Anderson.
